Ghana's Air Force has received its first Airbus H175M helicopter, part of a contract for four helicopters signed in January 2026. This procurement includes two H175Ms, one ACH175, and one ACH160, aimed at improving the Air Force's operational efficiency.
The acquisition follows a tragic incident in August 2025 that highlighted the need for modern replacements. The H175M is designed for multiple missions, including search and rescue and disaster relief. The helicopters will undergo technical inspections and training before full deployment, contributing to national security and operational readiness.
