GHD Awarded $120M Navy Hangar Project in Guam
GHD has secured a $120 million contract to design a hangar for the U.S. Navy at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. This initiative is part of the $15 billion Pacific Deterrence Initiative, aimed at enhancing military readiness in the Indo-Pacific region.

GHD, in collaboration with ECC and Giuliani Associate Architects, will design and build a new hangar for the U.S. Navy at Andersen Air Force Base. The project commenced in October 2025 and is expected to be completed by November 2028.
The facility will replace outdated infrastructure and include a main hangar, ancillary facilities, and essential enhancements to support operational demands. It will also comply with Guam's environmental standards, including resistance to typhoons and seismic activity. GHD's responsibilities involve demolition, remediation, quality assurance, and engineering services for comprehensive infrastructure support.
