Global Lithium Receives Approval for Manna Project Mining Development
Global Lithium Resources has received approval for the Mining Development and Closure Proposal for its Manna lithium project in Western Australia. This decision allows for the establishment of key infrastructure, supporting plans for first direct shipping ore by Q2 2027.

The Western Australia Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration has approved the Mining Development and Closure Proposal (MDCP) for Global Lithium's Manna project. This approval paves the way for the construction of multiple open pits, waste rock management, and essential mining infrastructure.
The MDCP will also play a crucial role in Global Lithium's final investment decision, anticipated in Q4 2026, with operations aiming for first direct shipping ore by Q2 2027 and spodumene concentrate production in mid-2027. The development's acceleration could enhance Australia's lithium output significantly.
