During the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada conference in Toronto, the Canadian federal government and Ontario government announced significant support for critical mineral projects. The federal government unveiled $17 million for 30 projects, while Ontario Premier Doug Ford accelerated plans for infrastructure development in the Ring of Fire region, aiming for completion by 2031.

Notable investments include up to $7 million for Greenland Resources and $16.7 million for First Phosphate.
