The office aims to improve coordination, operational efficiency, and service delivery of road safety initiatives.

Sani noted that the initiative aligns with the state's infrastructure renewal and public safety agenda. The state government has introduced 100 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses for free mass transit, serving over 1.4 million passengers and saving nearly N1.5 billion in transport costs since July 2025.

Additionally, over 200 modern bus stops have been completed, the Kakuri Modern Bus Terminal is nearing completion, and preparations for the Kaduna Light Rail Project are set to begin in March 2026. The FRSC Zonal Office will enhance enforcement, emergency response, and public education on road safety in Kaduna and surrounding states.
