GP Biotec Ltd has received substantial funding from NatWest Cymru to enhance its anaerobic digestion capabilities. This investment will increase renewable energy production and support local employment in the Welsh rural economy.

NatWest Cymru has provided significant funding to GP Biotec Ltd to expand its biogas production capabilities in Powys, Wales. The investment will boost the firm's output of renewable gas and improve the use of by-products for soil enrichment, contributing to reduced reliance on artificial fertilizers.
Since its transition in 2013 from traditional farming to renewable energy, GP Biotec has established itself as a leader in clean energy generation, currently employing 22 staff. This initiative aligns with NatWest's Growing Together plan, aiming to support infrastructure projects across the UK, fostering economic growth and environmental sustainability. The funding is expected to further solidify local job creation and enhance community benefits.
