Graphite One Advances US Graphite Supply Chain with Graphite Creek Project
Graphite One's Graphite Creek project in Alaska is set to generate significant domestic graphite production, reducing US reliance on imports. With an estimated value exceeding US$20 billion and operational plans for 2030, the project will create approximately 256 local jobs and enhance technological capabilities across multiple industries.

Graphite One’s Graphite Creek project aims to produce 175,000 tons of graphite concentrate annually, reinforcing US supply chains currently reliant on imports. The project is expected to create around 256 jobs in Alaska and contribute to a projected revenue of nearly US$1 billion by 2032.
With production commencing in 2030, Graphite Creek's output could supply enough graphite for over 3.3 million EVs and support the production of more than 55 million tons of steel annually. Recent government funding, including a US$37.5 million grant from the Department of Defense, underlines the project's strategic importance. As the US looks to reduce dependence on China for critical minerals, Graphite One’s initiatives align with national security interests and the push for domestic production in the clean energy sector.
