Gravis Robotics is expanding into the US market, debuting its Gravis Copilot machine-guidance platform at ConExpo 2026. The platform enhances excavator operations with real-time terrain visualization and allows upgrades to full autonomy through a software update.

Gravis has developed a physical AI platform that integrates LiDAR, cameras, GNSS, and hydraulic feedback for real-time adjustments to ground conditions. Its technology is operational in seven countries.

The US expansion follows a recent $23 million funding round. At ConExpo, Gravis collaborates with Develon and Hitachi Construction Machinery Americas to demonstrate autonomous trenching and bulk excavation capabilities on a Hitachi ZX135-7H.
