GravitHy, Elyse Energy, and Marcegaglia Form Industrial Cooperation in Fos-sur-Mer
GravitHy, Elyse Energy, and Marcegaglia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore industrial synergies in Fos-sur-Mer, France. This agreement aims to support the establishment of a low-carbon industrial hub in the region, focusing on three complementary projects for industrial decarbonization. GravitHy plans to produce 2 million tons of low-carbon Hot Briquetted Iron by 2030, Elyse Energy aims to manufacture low-carbon molecules like E-methanol and sustainable aviation fuel, and Marcegaglia seeks to modernize low-carbon steel production with a 90% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2028.

GravitHy, Elyse Energy, and Marcegaglia have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to develop industrial synergies in Fos-sur-Mer, France. The collaboration involves three key projects aimed at decarbonization: GravitHy's facility for producing 2 million tons of low-carbon Hot Briquetted Iron by 2030, Elyse Energy's NeoCarb project for low-carbon molecules from 2030, and Marcegaglia's initiative to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by over 90% in low-carbon steel production by 2028. The MoU includes working groups focused on logistics, circular economy, and regulatory compliance to identify synergies within the broader context of regional industrial transformation.
