Greece and Israel Collaborate on Anti-Drone and Cybersecurity Initiatives
Greece and Israel announced a partnership focused on anti-drone systems and cybersecurity, enhancing military cooperation amid regional tensions. This includes knowledge sharing on unmanned vehicles and cyber threats, following talks between Defence Ministers Nikos Dendias and Israel Katz in Athens.
Both nations aim to counter threats, particularly from drone swarms and cyberattacks. Greece is undergoing a military modernization program projected at €25 billion-€28 billion, with significant procurement from Israel, including rocket artillery and advanced defense systems.
