Greece Signs Contracts for Development of Kamikaze Drones and Unmanned Combat Aircraft

DEFENSE

Greece's Defense Ministry has signed four contracts to develop one-way attack drones and unmanned combat aircraft. The agreements, made through the Hellenic Center for Defense Innovation, follow successful field tests during the 'Parmenion' military exercises.

One contract is with the government's Center for Research, Technological Development and Innovation for kamikaze drones, while the other three are with private companies for unmanned combat aircraft. The goal is to integrate these systems into the armed forces promptly as part of a strategy to enhance military technology.
