Greece's Special Operations Command Receives TRG M10 Sniper Rifles from Finland
Greece's Special Warfare Command has received the first batch of TRG M10 sniper rifles from Finland's Sako, part of a €6.12 million modernization effort. The initial delivery includes 90 rifles, with 29 more expected soon. The program faced delays due to contract complications but was resolved, leading to live-fire tests at the Kandili army range. The rifles, featuring an effective range over 800 meters, will enhance capabilities for various special operations units across the Greek military.

Greece's Special Warfare Command has begun receiving TRG M10 multicaliber sniper rifles from Finland's Sako, fulfilling a military requirement. The first batch consists of 90 rifles, with an additional 29 on the way.
The €6.12 million procurement program faced delays due to contract issues but was resolved, with the agreement signed in March 2025. Recent live-fire tests were conducted at the Kandili army range, and further trials are planned. The rifles will be distributed among various special operations units, enhancing operational capabilities with an effective range exceeding 800 meters.
