GRIDCO invites bids for a consultancy to perform an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for a 225 MW floating solar project in Odisha, with submissions due by June 3, 2026. The project involves developing three 75 MW floating solar installations and associated evacuation infrastructure, including 220 kV transmission lines.
Bidders must present an earnest money deposit of ₹100,000 and a performance security of ₹250,000, alongside a non-refundable bid document fee of ₹11,800. The ESIA aims to evaluate environmental impacts, including air and water quality, and prepare plans for livelihood restoration and stakeholder engagement.
A pre-bid meeting is set for May 6, 2026, and the final contract is expected by June 30, 2026. This consultancy emphasizes the importance of balancing renewable energy development with environmental and social considerations.
