Groundbreaking for Largest Army Electromagnetic Testing Facility at Redstone Arsenal
Construction of the Military Systems Electromagnetic Test Support Facility (MSETS) at Redstone Arsenal begins, funded by Congress. Set to be completed in 2028, MSETS will enhance testing capabilities for military equipment, particularly in electromagnetic spectrum assessment.

The U.S. Army Redstone Test Center has commenced construction of the Military Systems Electromagnetic Test Support Facility (MSETS), a 28,000-square-foot facility aimed for completion in 2028. It will be the Army's largest anechoic chamber and the third-largest radio-frequency testing facility within the Department of War.
The facility will support testing of rotary wing aircraft, including the MV-75, and will assess the impact of the electromagnetic spectrum on military vehicles and systems. Key capabilities will include GPS Denied environments, Electronic Warfare testing, and Antenna Characterization. The presence of signed customers indicates immediate future utilization of MSETS upon completion, enhancing operational readiness.
