GVFL Invests ₹30M in Edgeverse to Enhance Edge AI for Two-Wheeler Safety
GVFL's ₹30 million investment in Edgeverse aims to advance edge AI perception technology, focusing on India's two-wheeler market and enhancing safety solutions. This funding will accelerate the development of tailored technologies for local traffic conditions, supporting the rapid growth of two-wheeler sales and exports.

GVFL has invested ₹30 million in Edgeverse India Pvt. Ltd., a startup specializing in edge AI perception technology for mobility. Founded in 2023, Edgeverse is developing a hardware-agnostic perception stack that integrates cameras and radar to enhance safety in two-wheelers, a critical market with 375-400 million units on Indian roads.
This investment will fund the development of India-specific road intelligence and commercialize AI-powered solutions. With domestic sales reaching 21.7 million units in FY2025-26, Edgeverse aims to capitalize on the growing demand for advanced safety technologies in the two-wheeler segment.
The startup plans to build an Indian road dataset and secure commercial agreements for its Advanced Rider Assistance System and Driver Monitoring System solutions within the next year. Edgeverse is also exploring applications in industrial automation and defense.
