GVFL has led a ₹6 crore Pre-Series A funding round for insideFPV, a defence drone technology startup, focused on product development and manufacturing readiness. This funding will support engineering, testing, and scaling of insideFPV’s drone platforms designed for battlefield deployment.

Founded in 2020 post-Galwan clash, insideFPV specializes in combat-ready drones, including FPV, kamikaze, and surveillance systems. The funding will also enhance manufacturing capacity and provide operational support, including training and rapid repair capabilities. insideFPV's drones have been tested with the Indian Army and won the Him Dron-a-thon competition in Ladakh. The startup aims to scale production over the next year and become a global defence drone manufacturer within three to five years.
