In Geoje, the local government proposes a shipbuilding industrial complex to localize technologies currently dependent on foreign sources, with a projected investment of 74.5 billion won by 2031. This initiative aims to boost competitiveness in the Floating Liquefied Natural Gas sector and could significantly impact local job creation and technological advancement.
