Montebello Bus Lines (MBL) has initiated the deployment of hydrogen fuel cell electric buses (FCEBs), marking a significant milestone in its plan to transition its fleet of 66 buses to zero-emission technologies. The new buses will operate across MBL's service network, which provides nearly 3 million rides annually.
Each hydrogen bus is expected to eliminate approximately 52 tons of CO₂ emissions yearly.
