Hanover Township Hearing on Data Center Development at Starpointe Business Park
Hanover Township is conducting a public hearing for a conditional use permit for a data center in Starpointe Business Park. The area's development is significant due to recent regulatory changes and the involvement of Prime Data Centers LLC, which has a national presence in data center operations.

A public hearing in Hanover Township will address a conditional use permit for a data center in Starpointe Business Park, scheduled for 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the Hanover Volunteer Fire Department Hall. The meeting was rescheduled from July due to an issue with the public notice.
In March, the township adopted an ordinance governing data center developments, paving the way for the application from Prime Data Centers LLC, which operates 28 projects nationwide. Additionally, nearly 900 acres of the Starpointe property were sold to ALTIAN Development LLC in late 2024 following a $11.193 million judgment against the Washington County Council on Economic Development.
