Hanwha Ocean Secures $498.8 Million Order for Two LNG Carriers

Hanwha Ocean Co. received a 738.3 billion-won order to construct two liquefied natural gas carriers for a shipping company in Oceania, with delivery expected by June 2029. This order contributes to a total of five vessels worth $890 million secured by Hanwha Ocean this year. The company anticipates increased demand for LNG carriers due to LNG terminal development projects in the United States and other countries.
