Hanwha Systems Partners with 11 Entities for Defense AI Development
Hanwha Systems has signed MOUs with 11 institutions to develop sovereign AI technologies for national defense. This initiative addresses risks associated with foreign AI reliance in sensitive security sectors.

Hanwha Systems Co. has entered into memoranda of understanding with 11 universities and companies to develop indigenous AI technologies for defense. Collaborators include Seoul National University, KAIST, and Naver Cloud Platform, focusing on a future battlefield situational AI model aimed at enhancing threat detection and decision-making in air defense.
