Haryana Launches Free Driver and Self-Defense Training for Women from BPL Families

The Haryana Women Development Corporation has announced a program aimed at empowering women from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families. The initiative includes 21-day driver training and self-defense training at the Ashok Leyland Driving Training Institute in Kaithal.
Applications are open until February 28, 2026, for permanent residents of Haryana aged 18 to 45, who have completed at least 12th grade. Eligible candidates must have good vision and a valid learner's license, with a family income not exceeding ₹180,000. Each participant will receive a stipend of ₹1,000.
