Hawtree & Sons Invests £75,000 in Dual-Purpose Valeting Equipment
Hawtree & Sons has enhanced its Gillingham forecourt with £75,000 spent on two Adriateh car dryer/vacuum units. This investment is projected to increase valeting income by 25% following a profitable first year for the facility, which generated £130,000 with a 94% gross profit margin.

Hawtree & Sons has invested £75,000 in two Adriateh dual-purpose car dryer and vacuum machines at its Gillingham site. This investment builds on the existing facilities, including three Adriateh jet washes and other services.
The jet wash hub generated £130,000 in its first year, with a 94% gross profit margin. Valeting income has increased by 25% this year, partly due to customer engagement on TikTok, where videos of the facilities have gained viral traction.
Fuel sales at the pump have also risen by 9%, indicating that the new services attract additional customers. The business generates £1,500 monthly from laundry services and receives ground rent from a dog wash, further driving sales of coffee and food items.
