A heart-shaped balloon, believed to be from Pakistan, was found in Paharpur, Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, following earlier sightings of similar balloons. Security agencies increased monitoring in the area.
Indian Army troops detected multiple suspected Pakistani drones along the Line of Control in Naushera-Rajouri, activating counter-drone measures that forced the drones to retreat. Heavy firing was reported in Jangarh and Kalal during the incident.
A joint operation by the Border Security Force and Jammu and Kashmir Police in Samba recovered arms, indicating ongoing cross-border infiltration attempts. Officials are investigating the balloon's origin.
