Hesai Technology has entered a strategic partnership with Grab, designating Grab as the exclusive distributor of Hesai's lidar products across Southeast Asia. This partnership aims to improve the availability of high-quality lidar sensors for various applications, such as robotics and autonomous systems.

Grab will manage sales, customer support, and marketing efforts for Hesai's products in the region. Hesai plans to double its lidar production capacity from 2 million units in 2025 to 4 million units in 2026, with a new manufacturing facility in Bangkok expected to begin operations in early 2027. The collaboration will also promote the development of physical AI across Southeast Asia.
