Hexagon Launches SARCA Calibration Device and OPC UA Support in SpatialAnalyzer
Hexagon's new SARCA device enhances industrial robot accuracy by up to ten times, addressing challenges in large-scale manufacturing. The introduction of OPC UA support in SpatialAnalyzer facilitates real-time integration of precision metrology data into automated workflows, benefiting sectors like aerospace and energy.

Hexagon has released the SARCA robot-calibration device, which can increase the accuracy of industrial robots by as much as tenfold. This device complements SpatialAnalyzer, which now features OPC UA support, allowing real-time precision measurement integration into automated production systems.
This update addresses significant accuracy limitations in robotic automation, especially for large components in industries such as aerospace, where order backlogs exceed 16,000 aircraft as of May 2026. The latest version of SpatialAnalyzer includes Google Sheets integration and enhanced compatibility with various precision scanners.
These advancements aim to meet the growing demand for efficient, high-quality production in the aerospace and defense sectors. The combined capabilities of SARCA and SpatialAnalyzer may lead to improved manufacturing processes and outputs.
