HFCL Launches HASPL to Enhance Defence and Aeronautics Capabilities with Rs 1,680 Crore Order Book
HFCL Limited has launched HFCL Advanced Systems Private Limited (HASPL) to consolidate its defence business, starting with an order book of Rs 1,680 crore. The company is expanding into aeronautics through the acquisition of Spiral EHL Engineering, which includes acquiring Defsys Solutions' aeronautics business. This initiative aligns with India's 'Make in India' program, enhancing indigenous capabilities and supporting export growth.

HFCL Limited has announced the formation of HFCL Advanced Systems Private Limited (HASPL) to consolidate its defence operations, supported by an order book of Rs 1,680 crore. The company is entering the aeronautics sector through the acquisition of Spiral EHL Engineering Private Limited, which will also acquire the aerostructure and aeronautics business from Defsys Solutions on a slump sale basis.
HASPL aims to unify capabilities in aerostructures, radar systems, and thermal weapon sights. HFCL has a confirmed export order book of Rs 1,570 crore, reinforcing its commitment to the 'Make in India' initiative and enhancing domestic procurement in the defence sector.
