HPCL Invites Bids for 24.2 MW Floating Solar Projects in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh

HPCL Renewable and Green Energy (HPRGE) has issued a tender for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of 24.2 MW of floating solar projects in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh. The projects include a 9 MW project in Nanchna, a 14 MW project in Pachpadra, and a 1.2 MW project in Vizag.

Bids are due by January 14, 2026, with an earnest money deposit of ₹1 million (~$11,091.68) required. The selected bidders must provide a performance bank guarantee of 2% of the contract value. The Pachpadra project is expected to generate over 25,640,000 kWh in the first year, while the Vizag project must exceed 2,191,578 kWh. The projects have a defect liability period of 12 months post-commissioning, with energy deration limits set thereafter.
