HPCL Signs 10-Year LNG Supply Agreement with ADNOC Gas Subsidiary ALNG
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has signed a 10-year Sale Purchase Agreement with Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company (ALNG) for the long-term supply of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to its terminal in Chhara, Gujarat. This agreement aims to support HPCL's refineries and gas demand across various sectors, enhancing economic ties between India and the UAE while contributing to India's energy security and transition to cleaner energy.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has signed a 10-year Sale Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company (ALNG), a subsidiary of ADNOC Gas, for the long-term supply of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). HPCL will receive LNG at its 5 million tonne per annum storage and regasification terminal in Chhara, Gujarat.
This agreement will support HPCL’s refineries, City Gas Distribution networks, and gas demand in sectors including fertilizers, power, and petrochemicals, addressing India’s energy needs. The partnership enhances economic ties between India and the UAE and is expected to contribute to India’s energy security and the transition to cleaner energy.
