Humanoid AI Develops Advanced Wheeled and Bipedal Robotics in Europe
Humanoid AI is advancing its humanoid robotics with a focus on wheeled platforms, aiming for CE certification by late 2027. The company has established partnerships with major firms and has ambitious production targets, despite limited funding compared to U.S. competitors.

Humanoid AI, based in London, is developing its flagship robot, HMND 01, primarily as a wheeled platform, allocating 90% of engineering resources to it. The company targets CE certification by late 2027, which is more achievable for wheeled robots than for bipedal models due to regulatory challenges.
Founded in 2024, Humanoid has signed deployment agreements with Schaeffler, Bosch, and Siemens, planning to manufacture 100,000 units by 2031. Currently, Humanoid has raised $74 million, significantly less than competitors like Neura Robotics, which has over $1 billion in funding. The company's technology uses a four-layer AI architecture to enhance operational efficiency, aiming to exceed human performance in robotic tasks.
