Hungarian Defense Forces and Ohio National Guard Expand Cooperation in Air Defense and Cyber Operations
The Hungarian Defense Forces and the Ohio National Guard are planning to broaden their partnership to include air defense, cyber operations, and drone warfare. General Dr. Gábor Böröndi talked about these initiatives after attending the Ohio National Guard's annual commanders' conference.
He also met with Brigadier General Matthew S. Woodruff and General Steven S. Nordhaus at the Pentagon.
The collaboration, spanning over 30 years, aims to enhance military readiness and training. Key topics discussed included joint preparation in air defense and new areas like cyber operations and counter-drone measures. The Chief of the Defense Staff visited the National Advanced Air Mobility Center of Excellence, focusing on air mobility and unmanned aerial systems development.
