Hwaseong Special City to Install 104 Renewable Energy Facilities in Jeongnam-myeon
Hwaseong Special City has announced plans to install 104 renewable energy facilities in Jeongnam-myeon by the end of the year, following a consortium agreement signed on the 20th for the 2026 Renewable Energy Convergence Support Project. The initiative aims to reduce fuel costs and carbon emissions through various renewable sources, including solar power, geothermal, and solar thermal systems. The project will feature 66 solar power locations (845 kW), 26 geothermal sites (455 kW), and 12 solar thermal installations (430 m²).
