Students from TABS College of Science Girls Section, Hyderabad, won the ninth cycle of Enterprise Challenge Pakistan with their project Nebulavolt, a fog-to-electricity safety device for fog-prone areas. This low-cost device captures fog using a hydrophilic mesh and converts water droplets into clean electricity through triboelectric nanogenerators.
The electricity generated can power streetlights and traffic signals, enhancing visibility, reducing accidents, and promoting eco-friendly smart cities. The National Final took place in Karachi on January 24, 2026, hosted by the British Deputy High Commissioner in collaboration with King's Trust International and SEED Ventures.
Quetta's Green Husk Creation was the runner-up, with other finalists including HerLight Productions, Zindagi Check, and Capable Homes. Awards recognized innovation, climate friendliness, financial viability, and social impact.
