Hydro Energy Invest Acquires Stake in Arverne Group's Lithium Division
Hydro Energy Invest, a Norwegian subsidiary, has acquired a 5.31% stake in Arverne Group, complementing Bpifrance's earlier 4.06% investment. This funding will support Lithium de France's efforts to develop a geothermal lithium deposit in Alsace, with drilling set to commence in late 2025 and production anticipated to begin in 2028.

Hydro Energy Invest, a subsidiary of a Norwegian group, acquired a 5.31% stake in Arverne Group in October 2025, adding to the company's capital following Bpifrance's 4.06% stake acquired in May 2025. The investment supports the Lithium de France subsidiary, which aims to exploit a geothermal lithium deposit in Alsace, with drilling starting in late 2025 and production expected to begin with the first refining train in 2028.
