HydroGraph Upgrades to Tier 1 Membership with GEIC to Enhance Graphene Applications in Manchester
HydroGraph Clean Power Inc. has upgraded its membership with the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC) at The University of Manchester from Tier 2 to Tier 1, effective January 6, 2026. This enhanced collaboration, which began in 2023, aims to advance graphene applications across various sectors, including medical devices and coatings, and will establish a dedicated laboratory for HydroGraph at the GEIC. The partnership is expected to strengthen ties with strategic partners like the U.S. Army Research Laboratory and support HydroGraph's expansion plans in Texas.

HydroGraph Clean Power Inc. has upgraded its membership with the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC) at The University of Manchester from Tier 2 to Tier 1. This change, effective January 6, 2026, builds on their collaboration started in 2023, focusing on application development and validation of graphene technologies.
The partnership has led to over 75 commercial projects aimed at enhancing products in sectors like medical devices and coatings. HydroGraph's production capacity has increased to approximately one ton per month, with plans for full-scale operations as new facilities in Texas develop throughout 2026.
The new Tier 1 status will establish a dedicated laboratory for HydroGraph within the GEIC, facilitating industrial trials and access to the university's resources. The collaboration will also strengthen connections with strategic partners, including the U.S. Army Research Laboratory, to explore opportunities in North America.
