Hyperscale Data Installs OPR-R2 Robots in Michigan Facility
Hyperscale Data initiated the installation of 100 OPR-R2 robots at its Michigan AI data center, aiming to enhance data collection and AI training capabilities. This expansion coincides with significant financial challenges, including an 89% stock decline over the past year.

Hyperscale Data, Inc. has begun deploying 100 OPR-R2 robots at its Michigan facility, enhancing its capabilities in visual data collection and AI training. The company has ordered a total of 143 robots, with 100 designated for Michigan and others for pilot programs with partners.
Despite a market capitalization of $60.77 million and an 89% drop in stock value, Hyperscale Data is preparing to support the deployment of robots across approximately 9,290 square meters, potentially creating over 500 jobs in the next three years. The company is addressing a significant debt load and rapid cash consumption, indicating that actual installation timelines may differ from projections. The robots will serve as a data generation platform, aiding in the development of physical AI and robotics.
