Iceye Aims for €1 Billion Revenue with Increased Satellite Production Amid Defense Demand
Finnish satellite firm Iceye Oy targets over €1 billion in revenue next year, fueled by government contracts and increased defense spending. Last year's revenue surpassed €250 million, with an EBITDA of over €100 million. Iceye plans to expand its production capacity to 50 satellites by April and aims for 100 annually. The company has a €1.5 billion order backlog, including contracts with several European defense forces. Iceye recently raised €150 million, bringing total funding to €600 million.

Iceye Oy, based in Espoo, Finland, aims to surpass €1 billion in revenue next year, driven by government orders and increased defense spending in Europe. Revenue exceeded €250 million last year, doubling its previous earnings, with EBITDA over €100 million.
The company plans to launch 25 more satellites this year, reaching an annual production rate of 50 by late April, with a target of 100 satellites annually thereafter. Iceye holds a €1.5 billion order backlog from various European nations and raised €150 million recently, totaling €600 million in funding. An IPO is considered but not prioritized at this stage.
