ICEYE Delivers Polish SAR Intelligence System to Armed Forces
On May 15, ICEYE transferred the Polish SAR Intelligence System (POLSARSIS) to the Polish Armed Forces, marking a significant advancement in the country's satellite reconnaissance capabilities. This initiative, developed under the MikroSAR program, enhances Poland's autonomous Earth observation capabilities and positions it among a select group of nations with such technology.

The Polish Armed Forces received the POLSARSIS Earth Observation System from ICEYE on May 15, 2025, following a contract signed just a year earlier. The system, built at a cost of approximately 860 million PLN, includes a constellation of satellites equipped with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) for high-resolution imaging.
The first satellite was launched on November 29, 2025, with additional satellites scheduled for deployment by the end of 2026. This quick rollout establishes MikroSAR as one of the fastest military satellite programs globally. The initiative will enhance situational awareness, enabling real-time monitoring of security environments and rapid response to threats, crucial for national defense.
