ICEYE Expands Satellite Imagery Cooperation with Ukraine's Ministry of Defence
ICEYE has expanded its cooperation with Ukraine's Ministry of Defence, increasing the provision of high-resolution satellite imagery to enhance tactical situational awareness and national security. This agreement builds on prior support initiated in 2022 and incorporates ICEYE's advanced Generation 4 satellite technology, which offers reliable data for operational decision-making, irrespective of weather conditions. The partnership aims to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities through improved access to space-based intelligence.

On January 19, 2026, ICEYE announced an expansion of its cooperation with Ukraine's Ministry of Defence, increasing the volume of high-resolution satellite imagery provided by its SAR constellation. This agreement enhances tactical situational awareness and national security for Ukraine, building on support initiated in 2022.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces will utilize space-based intelligence to improve operational decision-making, following a November 2024 contract that integrated ICEYE's SAR data into Ukraine's defense framework. The partnership employs ICEYE's Generation 4 satellite technology, delivering high-fidelity SAR imagery with ground resolution up to 16 cm and wide scanning capabilities.
This technology allows for effective monitoring regardless of weather conditions, providing reliable data for tactical decisions. ICEYE's commitment to supporting Ukraine is part of a broader strategy to enhance allied security through sovereign satellite missions.
