ICEYE Launches Six New SAR Satellites for Enhanced Sovereign Intelligence
ICEYE has launched six new synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites, expanding its capabilities for national missions in Poland and Portugal. This deployment enhances the operational readiness and resilience of allied nations by providing rapid, reliable intelligence solutions.

On March 30, 2026, ICEYE successfully deployed six new 25 cm resolution SAR satellites aboard the Transporter-16 mission, launched by SpaceX from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. This addition increases ICEYE's total satellite count to 70, with eight launched in 2026 alone.
The new satellites will support ICEYE's commercial constellation and national programs, including those for the Polish Armed Forces and the Portuguese Air Force. As nations shift towards operational reliance on space-based intelligence, ICEYE's quick deployment of sovereign ISR capabilities positions it as a leader in this sector. The company aims to produce one satellite weekly, responding to increasing demands for intelligence architecture worldwide.
