Imiron Secures ¥140 Million in Pre-Series A for SpecForge Platform
Imiron raises ¥140 million in a pre-Series A funding round to enhance its inference verification platform for autonomous systems. This investment will support R&D and recruitment efforts targeting top engineering talent, crucial for advancing safety in autonomous driving technology.

Imiron has successfully raised ¥140 million in pre-Series A funding, with DG Daiwa Ventures leading the investment, alongside contributions from Mitsubishi UFJ Capital and Gougin Capital. This round follows a ¥60 million seed investment from Abelia Capital in December 2024.
The funds will enhance the development and expansion of SpecForge, aimed at formal specification for autonomous driving and robotics. Imiron was established in August 2024 by CEO Masakazu Adachi, who has a background in R&D at Toyota and Denso. The company's collaborative project with T2, initiated in August last year, focuses on validating the safety of autonomous driving applications.
