INA Solar is developing a 4.5 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, which will enhance production capacity and improve supply chain integration. The new plant will work in conjunction with an 18,000 metric tonne aluminum frame production unit, bolstering the company's existing 5.5 GW module manufacturing capability.
INA Solar began operations in 2017 with an initial capacity of 80 MW and has expanded to include advanced manufacturing technologies. The company is also involved in government initiatives aimed at increasing solar energy adoption in India and aims to support the national target of 500 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030. This expansion could position INA Solar as a key player in the country's renewable energy landscape.
