Inauguration of Criogas-Vysotsk LNG Plant in Vysotsk, Russia
NATURAL GASGAS TURBINES & ENGINES
The Criogas-Vysotsk LNG plant was officially launched on April 24, 2019, during a video conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin. TGE Gas Engineering, represented by CEO Markus Eker, oversaw the project, which encountered challenges due to its location near St.
Petersburg. The plant consists of two technological lines, each with a capacity of 330,000 tons per year, and the second line is expected to be operational by the end of 2020, increasing capacity to 1.8 million tons annually. The first loading of liquefied natural gas occurred during the launch, with gas delivered to the tanker Coral Anthelia.
