India Approves Procurement of 60 Ghatak Stealth UCAVs for Indian Air Force
India's Defence Procurement Board has approved the procurement of 60 Ghatak stealth UCAVs, transitioning the program from a technology demonstrator to operational capability for the Indian Air Force. This fleet will support multiple operational squadrons, accounting for training and reserves. Ghatak's stealth design enables deep-penetration strike missions in heavily defended airspace, targeting high-value assets while evading detection.
