India Completes Trials of Nag ATGM and Dhruvastra Missile Systems
India has finalized trials for the Nag Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) and the Dhruvastra system, enabling their induction into military services. Developed by DRDO and manufactured by BDL, these systems enhance India’s defense capabilities.

The Nag ATGM and Dhruvastra, a variant of the HELINA system, are set for induction into the Indian Army and Air Force following successful trials. The Nag ATGM features a 4 km operational range and a tandem HEAT warhead, while the Dhruvastra operates from the Advanced Light Helicopter with a range of 7 km.
Both systems were developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation and manufactured by Bharat Dynamics Limited. The successful trials conducted in 2022 indicate a significant advancement in India's indigenous defense technology, potentially reducing reliance on foreign systems.
