India Gains Strategic Advantage as US-Israel Defense Collaboration Deepens
The US-Israel defense partnership is shifting focus from conventional arms sales to advanced technology integration, benefitting India. New Delhi has invested over $10 billion in Israeli defense equipment over two decades, establishing a unique position in global defense innovation networks.

India's defense ecosystem is uniquely positioned as the US and Israel strengthen their military ties through advanced technologies. Over 20 years, India has procured over $10 billion in defense equipment from Israel, including drones and missile systems.
Concurrently, the US has initiated the Initiative on Critical and Emerging Technology (iCET) with India, promoting collaboration in areas like AI and semiconductors. The INDUS-X initiative further enhances partnerships among startups and defense firms.
India also continues technology cooperation with Israel via the I4F Fund. This dual alignment with both nations provides India with rare strategic leverage in global defense.
