India Tests Pinaka Long Range Guided Rocket (LRGR-120) for Enhanced Precision Strikes
DEFENSE
India's DRDO tested the Pinaka Long Range Guided Rocket (LRGR-120), marking a shift to precision strikes. The weapon, capable of hitting targets 120 kilometers away, can be launched from existing artillery systems.
The Pinaka MBRL can fire salvos of eight guided rockets, aimed at enemy command centers and logistical hubs. France has shown interest in the system, reflecting its demand in the arms market. Future variants may extend the range to 200-300 kilometers. This domestically developed system strengthens India's long-range strike capabilities against threats from Pakistan and China.
