DroneVerse Aviation Pvt. Ltd. has deployed an AI Gunshot Detection and Autonomous Drone Response System for the Indian Army. This system aims to enhance operational speed, accuracy, and soldier safety in high-threat environments.
Developed in partnership with Triangula, it features over 90% indigenous content in its components, including acoustic sensors and UAV platforms. The system detects and classifies various types of gunfire and autonomously deploys drones for real-time aerial intelligence.
It can triangulate hostile fire within seconds and transmit precise coordinates to UAVs, which can launch within four seconds. The UAV provides live imaging and can drop ammunition on confirmed targets, with a flight endurance of up to 90 minutes. This capability has been validated in Indian operational conditions and is expected to be deployed in high-risk areas following successful evaluations with various Indian Army units and security forces.
