Indian Army Discovers Counterfeit Military Uniform Network in Rajasthan

In a recent operation in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan, Indian Army intelligence units, in collaboration with local police, uncovered a network distributing counterfeit military uniforms, seizing nearly 1,000 metres of unauthorized Army-pattern cloth. This follows a similar seizure in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, earlier this year, traced back to a local manufacturing source in Sriganganagar.

The presence of counterfeit uniforms raises serious security concerns, especially given the area's proximity to the Pakistan border, which could allow terrorists to disguise themselves as military personnel. Such disguises have previously been used in attacks, complicating anti-terror operations and posing risks to civilian safety.
