Indian Navy and DRDO Complete Trials for ADC-150 Air Droppable Container System
The Indian Navy, in collaboration with DRDO, has successfully completed trials for the ADC-150 air droppable container, capable of delivering a 150 kg payload. Conducted off Goa between February 21 and March 1, the trials validated the system's performance under various conditions, enhancing naval logistics for vessels at sea. The ADC-150 is set for induction into the Navy soon, improving operational capabilities and emergency resupply for ships in distress.

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian Navy have conducted successful trials of the ADC-150 air droppable container system, which can deliver a 150 kg payload to naval vessels. The trials, held off Goa from February 21 to March 1, included four in-flight releases from the P-8I aircraft.
Developed to improve operational logistics, the ADC-150 enables rapid delivery of essential supplies to ships in distress without requiring them to return to port. The system has been developed by various DRDO laboratories, with induction into the Navy expected soon.
